We've Moved - to a New Email Address!
Call it a virtual move. My folks aren't the
type to change email addresses often, but when it's the AT&T folks that
are canceling our accounts, what can we do? Thus, we've changed our
email address. Since this is a public website we've shown you only part
of our address below in the photo (the domain). What is the blank part
(the "name"), you ask? It's the same as our old email. Alternatively,
you can go to the contact me link above and send me a request and I'll
respond to you with my new email address. Please note, that as of March
31, my the old email address will no longer be valid, so please update
your address books.

Happy Holidays everyone! Below is our holiday card for this year, with
some additional information about the photo and card below in the caption.

With love surrounding, we wish you
peace and joy this holiday season and for the New Year. - Grace, Vince,
and Emi
About the photo: Emi is standing in the famous LOVE sculpture, on
the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in June,
2009. Designed by Robert Indiana, 26 of these iconic pop art creations
exist throughout the world, from Taipei to New York City, according to
Wikipedia.org. The piece of roti bread that Emi holds in her hand has no
significance other than the fact we just had dinner at an Indian
restaurant before this photo was taken.
About the card: Created using Microsoft Publisher, converted to JPG
(1800 x 2250 pixels), printed at Costco. The Chinese characters (top to
bottom, in pinyin) read: Ping an (Peace) and Xi le (Joy).

Autumn Hayride
It seems like in Florida there are only two
seasons: a mild winter and hot summer. Fortunately, I had the
opportunity to visit my cousins in Maryland in October and experience
all the fun things that go along with the traditional fall season. One
of those adventures was a day spent at
Butler's Orchard Pumpkin
festival, a traditional- turned amusement farm, complete with hayride,
pumpkin patches, petting farm, and corn mazes!
At
Butler's Orchard, Germantown Maryland. Photo-activity date: October 26,
2009. Top: (L to R) On a hayride with Aunty Joan, cousins Janae, Ryan,
Jason, Aunty Lisa, Shawn, Aunty Gillian and Aria. 2nd and 3rd: Exploring
the pumpkin patch with Janae and Jason via wheelbarrow, and on foot with
Aria. 4th: First time EVER feeding a goat. As a public health
announcement, please sanitize your hands after feeding them. 4th: lost
and falling down in a haybarn. Bottom: at the end of the day, at the
farm market. Pumpkins, pumpkins, everywhere!

Emi is Back to Blogging (and Sorry for the Delay)
After five full months of silence, it is
time to get back to the blogosphere of Emi's World. I guess "busy" just
doesn't cut it for an excuse, but it's either that or "lazy" (referring
to my dad, that is). At any rate, I'm back and hope to be blogging
regularly. Don't go to Facebook for news about me, you won't find much
there.
For the next few weeks to months, I will intersperse my activities over
the past few months with the more current events. Look at the photo
activity date under the photo captions to know when those activities
took place. Otherwise you might just think that I flew to Toronto,
hosted a birthday party, drove to Naples, visited grandma in Washington
D.C. and visited Philadelphia within a few days. Nope, I don't think
so...
Enjoying autumn, but not in Florida! Latest photos of me, taken at
the Lehigh Valley Zoo,
on November 8, 2009.
