Sherisse Ng (1997-2003)
Sherisse was born with courage, lots of it. Born with a complex
congenital heart malformation, Sherisse went through her first
corrective heart surgery at 12 days of age in Kuala Lumpur after a
planned surgery in the U.S. was aborted due to cardiac arrest at the
airport. Despite her medical problem, she continued to exhibit her
characteristic courage and strength. She knew the doctors and nurses
were there to help her and she would try very hard not to cry.

Sherisse
was a shy, yet funny girl who was well loved by her parents, family
and friends. Wherever she went, she brought laughter and happiness
to people around her. Although we are saddened by her passing, she
has brightened up the lives of many and left precious memories for
those whose lives had been touched by her. Deeply missed by her
papa, mama and friends, we were blessed to have Sherisse for five precious years. As one of her Sabbath School playmates
said, "Sherisse, we miss you, but we will see you in Heaven
when Jesus comes again."
