SeaWorld Orlando!

Seaworld LogoHere I am, having lived in Orlando my entire life, and NEVER having visited one of the major theme attractions. Until now. My parents decided what the heck, might as well start now. They thought that perhaps SeaWorld would be the best place to start. They were so optimistic that I was going to have fun, they purchased a 2-year annual pass! Soon after passing through those gates, they were thinking it was money down the drain. But I did have fun. As long as it's not all day.

Top: Looks like I'm getting kissed on the forehead by a bottlenose dolphin. Middle: After being crabby for the first few hours, it now looks like I'm finally having some fun! Bottom: It's always important to have time to stop and smell the flowers.

Skyping with Nai-nai and Yeh-yeh

Isn't technology wonderful? Today I participated in my first video call with nai-nai (奶奶) and yeh-yeh (爺爺) via Skype. When they called I had just got out of the bath and was not yet dressed, with just a towel. I donned on a cool set of headgear complete with microphone but just stared at the monitor, initially shy to speak. Nai-nai said I looked like an astronaut (which is appropriate, given that the space shuttle is in orbit at this time). Eventually I became my usual chatty self, showing off my maturity to my grandparents, saying such words as "turtle" and blowing a kiss to them at the end of our video conference, right before bedtime.

Using webcams and Skype, Nai-nai and yeh-yeh are able to see us as they realize that I'm quite a mature 18-month old girl.
